Reps Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 August 2026
Reps is a private, invite-only fitness tracker. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your personal data for marketing.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, name, profile image, and sign-in provider. A new account can also require an invite code.
- Fitness data you enter: meals, nutrition, water, strength, cardio, functional training, sports, goals, injuries or pain notes, and body measurements.
- Connected health data: steps, active energy, and walking or running distance that you allow Reps to read from Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Photos and voice: meal or body-scan images and short voice recordings that you choose to submit. Voice audio is used to create the requested log.
- Coach conversations and insights: messages you send and the recommendations that Reps creates for you.
- Basic technical data: a secure session token, pending changes stored on your phone, and minimal server logs needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use it
- To run the app: store and show your logs, trends, and body-composition history.
- To analyse the text, photo, or voice input that you submit, match food that you logged before, and generate estimates and coaching insights using Microsoft Azure AI services.
- To retry a log that could not upload and to prevent the same action from being applied twice.
- To keep you signed in and secure your account.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate Reps: MongoDB Atlas for the database, Amazon Web Services S3 for private media storage, Microsoft Azure AI services for requested AI analysis, transcription, and semantic food matching, Vercel for the API and website, and Apple or Google for sign-in and optional health connections.
Health & fitness data
Reps reads only the health categories that you approve. You can remove access in Apple Health or Health Connect. Health, calorie, nutrition, and body-composition values can be estimates. They are for personal tracking and are not medical advice or a diagnosis.
Access and sharing
Your private logs are scoped to your account. Because Reps is a small invite-only service, the owner can access account and log information when needed for support, data recovery, cost review, or abuse prevention. Challenge or friend features can show the limited score and profile information required by a leaderboard that you join.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app or use our public account-deletion page. Account deletion removes active account data from Reps. Copies in managed backups expire under the provider retention schedule.
Your choices
- Photos are optional — you can log by text or voice instead.
- Voice is optional — you can log by text or photo instead.
- Apple Health and Health Connect are optional and can be disconnected.
- You can request a copy of your data or delete your account at any time.
Children
Reps is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
